Hello, I’ve been using Sockets in Java for quite a while and am pretty experienced with them but now I’m moving to C++. I got SDL_Net to use for network connections for a game and only can find one tutorial for UDP (What I’m told is best for games) here: gpwiki/index.php/SDL:Tutorial:Using_SDL_net In this tutorial it shows you how to use scanf(“%s”, (char *)p->data); to put a string into the packets data part and when it sends it it works fine, but I want to send different variables (ints) over the without needing it to be inputted (just a local variable) and have been unsuccessful. I’ve tried every combination to emulate the same effect that the scanf produces with no luck. How can I get something like (int*)p->data = (int*)intValue? Thanks
